Killah Cortez comes to San Diego for his only 2026 show in the city on October 20 at 7PM, Winstons Beach Club 21+, with special guests Westpark + My Band

Killah Cortez blends alternative rock, post-punk, and electronic textures into a sound built around sharp melodies, distortion, and emotional tension. After nearly two decades producing and engineering records for artists including Ab-Soul, The Glorious Sons, Cheekface, and The Kooks, Greg Cortez stepped out from behind the board to build a project of his own. His latest single, “Blood Money,” pushes that sound into heavier territory, a restless protest song about greed, power, and the cost of looking away. Co-written with Andrea Lopez of Tough Front and co-produced by Jake Bowman, “Blood Money” mixes analog grit, electronica, and post-punk urgency into what Cortez calls Fuzz-Tronica.

Westpark is a Southern California indie/alternative rock band shaped by beach towns, skateparks, late nights, and the consequences that come with them. Drawing from skate and surf culture, their songs move between the rush of being young, falling hard, making bad decisions, and dealing with what comes next. Loud, melodic, and rough around the edges, Westpark sounds like Southern California and not the postcard version.
